Sharon brings more than 30 years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience across public accounting and private industry. She began her career with EY, gaining a strong foundation in auditing and tax compliance, and went on to serve in executive roles including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Controller, and Assistant Controller — most recently for a global medical technology company.
Her expertise spans financial reporting, bookkeeping, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, internal controls, and accounting systems implementation. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting emphasis, Economics minor) from California State University, Los Angeles, and has been a Certified Public Accountant in California since 1991.
Michael brings a unique blend of financial expertise and public service to the firm. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen specializing in taxation and auditing, then spent 31 years in law enforcement — including 20 years as a Bomb Technician, where precision, integrity, and attention to detail were essential. He also worked part-time with Jackson Hewitt while in law enforcement.
Michael holds a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Forensic Science, along with an undergraduate degree in Economics and Business. Today, he combines his accounting background, analytical training, and decades of investigative experience to help clients navigate bookkeeping, accounting, and tax matters with precision and care.
